Yamamoto® Research Enzymasic® is a dietary supplement composed of selected enzymes. In particular, the product was developed based on EnzyMix (a 400 mg/day dose), consisting of amylase, protease, glucoamylase, lipase, cellulase, lactase and pectinase, to which have been added the enzymes bromelain, papain and alpha galactosidase.
Digestive enzymes play a fundamental role in supporting the action of the gastrointestinal system, they are protein molecules that work by combining with a specific substance to transform it and aid its absorption. We find them in various sections of the gastrointestinal system, from saliva to the stomach, including the pancreas and the small intestine. Each of them has a specific role: some break down fat, some are specialised in breaking down carbohydrates while others act on proteins. Their deficiency can create several unpleasant disorders such as digestive difficulty, meteorism, bloating, irritable bowel syndrome, malabsorption phenomena, resulting in lower nutrient intake, with diarrhea or constipation. The integration of Enzymasic® counteracts stressed gastrointestinal system conditions, thus improving the absorption of nutrients and encouraging the digestion of macromolecules which are more resistant to breakdown such as certain proteins, gluten, caseins and lactose.
